On 20th July I have been hit by a car; since then left shoulder feels instable and less sensitive.
So today I rode up Klausenpass and on the downhill section I set a new personal record, which is in the first thrid of all rides on Strava.
On the uphill part, I was only able to go out of the sadle for 30 - 40 seconds instead of 2 min. And my right arm started hurting strongly. While the left arm felt all the time week.

Sri Chinmoy Cycling Challenge Week 2 - 414 km
After 8 hours at work, I wend at 6 PM for an 80 km ride and I arrived at 22:40 home.
So today I was not too motivated, and just went by the feeling where I should ride.
Altough I was still tired from yesterday, I managed Zurich - Rapperswil in 50:33 min
- 31,1 km.
There I stopped to eat an apple and whom did I see running around a corner? Bronze medalist in triathlon Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
Inspired by the top triathletes I decided to climb Etzelpass. With up to 20% percent climbing, one of the toughest passes in the Swiss Alps.

Pfäffikon - Baar Bike Route for Cycling Challenge in June and TRI Training 42 km 700 m up / 70 km 1000 m up

Pictures from the ride, which starts in Pfäffikon. Before you head towards Einsiedeln, you go right in direction "Raten"- pass.
After two climbs, you leave the main road following the bike-route "9".
The village of Rothenthurm is in the foothills of the Alps at about 930 m
in the upland valley of the Biber between Schwyz and Einsiedeln. The
Letziturm with its red shingled roof, built in 1323, gave Rothenthurm
its name and is always associated with the place. Another noteworthy
place to visit in the village is the parish church of St. Antonius, one
of the most important churches in the canton of Schwyz.
Switzerland’s largest upland moor, in Central Switzerland between Rothenthurm and Biberbrugg, has been successfully preserved. The broad moorland landscape is an important conservation area for plants and animals, but also a fascinating place for relaxation and adventure for visitors.
The ride follows the route 9 which is one of the bike-routes in Switzerland.
Aegerilake just after the battle field of Morgarten The French
invasion of Switzerland in 1798 brought about a swift end of the Ancien Régime.
The French victories against the larger cities of the swiss plateau led to the
creation of the French supported Helvetic Republic on 12 April 1798. Following
the declaration of the Republic, the Cantons of Uri, Schwyz and Nidwalden
rejected it and raised an army to fight the French.

Chur - Arosa is a classic mountain-race that is organised for the 33th time
One mile after the start the climb starts with 12% for 5 km and then
continues with different sharp climbs with an average climb of 4 %. Among the
223 entrants
many were elite riders, so the winning time was 1:00:59. It took me
1:56:39 and I placed 220th.
Still I was satisfied as I could break two hours and also with maximum
pulse of 168 and average pulse of 155, I probably gave the best I could.

Klausenpass "together" with Sister Buschka, 1952 m and 1300 m up
Start 10:10 in Betschwanden; on right site of the station is the children-circus of my nephews and nieces. Sister Buschka just sent sms that she is 10 km ahead and already 600 m up.
Time 12:02 16 km and 1700 m up; running time: 1:38. It is now another 6 km and 250 m up to Klausenpass. It starts to rain lightly.
I made it to the top of the 22 km and 1300 m climb in 2:15 min. 1989 I had run it up in 1:50 hours. Klausenpass is 1952 m and 6504 ft. As it starts to rain heavy sister Bushka already went down, passing me.
Altough it was below 15 C and raining heavily I rode down the 1300 m and 22 km in 36 min; my time from last year in dry conditions were 34 min, which put me on Strava on 375th place out of 821 riders.
