Training with Andreas up Ibergeregg (1406 m)

We met in Zoug and rode along the lake of Zoug to Schwyz with some nasty steep hills. But this was just the beginning:

We climbed the 800 m up in 1 hour and 2 minutes; well Andreas was a few minutes faster. Below you see my average puls as well as my maximum. (After 1:57 maximum pulse 170 and average was 150).
The sunny weather, the apple juice on the top was worth the effort.

After we rode back to Einsiedeln and then Andreas went on to Zoug and I took the easy downhill to the lake of Zurich (Pfäffikon).
Total 81 km 3:30 up 1379 min and 144 average pulse.

Bike Training between Germany and Switzerland

Today I took the train from Zurich to Rafz to meet my old running-friend and duathlete Roger.
He took me on a beautful and very senic tour around the "Hallau", which is in the northern part of Switzerland, bordering to Germany, whose border we crossed four times. The distance was 72 km including four hills, two of them really steep (total altitude was 950 m). Back in Rafz we had 2:49 minutes on our bike-computer with an average speed of 25 km.

View from the top of the first of the four hills we passed on our bike-tour between Germany ans Switzerland around Hallau (Canton Schaffhausen).
