Chur - Arosa is a classic mountain-race that is organised for the 33th time

One mile after the start the climb starts with 12% for 5 km and then continues with different sharp climbs with an average climb of 4 %. Among the 223 entrants
many were elite riders, so the winning time was 1:00:59. It took me 1:56:39 and I placed 220th.

Still I was satisfied as I could break two hours and also with maximum pulse of 168 and average pulse of 155, I probably gave the best I could.

Klausenpass "together" with Sister Buschka, 1952 m and 1300 m up

Start 10:10 in Betschwanden; on right site of the station is the children-circus of my nephews and nieces. Sister Buschka just sent sms that she is 10 km ahead and already 600 m up.

Time 12:02 16 km and  1700 m up; running time:   1:38. It is now another 6 km and 250 m up to Klausenpass. It starts to rain lightly.

I made it to the top of the 22 km and 1300 m climb in 2:15 min. 1989 I had run it up in 1:50 hours. Klausenpass is 1952 m and 6504 ft. As it starts to rain heavy sister Bushka already went down, passing me.

Altough it was below 15 C and raining heavily I rode down the 1300 m and 22 km in 36 min; my time from last year in dry conditions were 34 min, which put me on Strava on 375th place out  of 821 riders.

Here is my sister Buschka....

Bike and Cycling Outfit same, except I am putting a helmet and glasses on.

After my swim of 500 m in 17 min; I decided to do first my 5 km run and....

Longjog 2 weeks after hospital 16,5km 1:57:56 @ 7:07/km

Although it was pourring rain after one hour, I felt pretty good. This has been with warm-up and down, a 19 km run - the longest since my bike-crash on 9th September.

Picture of the on 28th January after 4 months and 20 days removed Philos plate with the 12 screws. One of them was bothering me for 140 nights; when I was kept awake each night for 1 1/2 - 2 hours with pain. The questions now is, how stable will the mulitfractured arm after the removal.

Almost up Altberg 613 m

Today my sister Narmada and I ran almost up Altberg (613 m). It was a 10.5 km run in 1:10 hour and a climb of about 300 m.  On the way back on a different route, it took us 1:09 hour.

Probably due to the heavy rain, Strava.com stopped after 12 km. But knowing the distance, my estimate is 22 km in 2:19 hour. With a total climb of around 400 m.
